Our History
It all began with a shared passion for the performing arts and a commitment to supporting the students and staff of New Kent High School. The Trojan Theatre Booster Club was established in 2004 by a dedicated group of parents and supporters who shared a common goal - to enhance the theatre experience for every Trojan Theatre Student.
Since its founding, the Booster Club has worked along side Mrs. Gallant and the theatre department to provide financial and volunteer support that helps our students thrive both on and off the stage. Through fundraising and community involvement we have helped offset the costs of costumes, props, equipment and student trips making it possible for more students to participate in enriching theatrical experiences.
Our Mission
Through the generosity of our volunteers, families and community, we strive to provide the resources and experiences that allow our students to learn, create, and shine both on stage and behind the scenes. Together we do our best to build a welcoming theatre family where every member is valued, every contribution matters and every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Why Join?
We are a non profit 501-C group, which means every dollar we raise goes directly back into the Trojan Theatre Program. Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, your time and talents make a difference! There are opportunities for everyone - helping at performances, fundraising, concession, special events, set building, costumes, hospitality and more!
Although we are a fairly young organization, our commitment is strong! Every production, every performance, and every student sucess is made possible through the generosity of our volunteers, families and community supporters.
